I feel that the citizens in the district that Mill rd falls in could benefit greatly if the drainage and ditches/culverts were improved. I just moved to this location and purchased a property with 2acres and when we have a rain that exceeds 1.5 inches almost half of my property becomes a holding pond for at least 2-3 days. It also makes it difficult to do lawn work our fully utilize the property I have purchased. The water backs up because the drainage on the county right of way are woefully inadequate or in MOST cases, non existent. This area of Columbus is growing and fine, expensive newer homes are being developed in the Mill Rd/Phillips Hill Rd areas and the infrastructure should be improved to prevent property damages and vehicle accidents when the stormwater goes over the rd. PLEASE HELP.
