Spring Into Motion Series

Kick off a healthier you this spring with Lowndes County Recreation’s Spring into Motion Series, a five-month wellness journey featuring fun, accessible, and community-centered fitness events for all ages and skill levels. Join one event or complete the entire series!

Walk into Spring Challenge - January to April

Stay motivated this season with our step challenge! Participants track their steps each month using our StepUp Group and earn entries into prize raffles for hitting milestone goals. Complete all four months to qualify for free entry into the Kiwanis Memorial Weekend 5K. It’s simple, flexible, and a great way to stay active at your own pace. Pilates in the Park Series - February to April

Enjoy movement, fresh air, and community connection with our outdoor Pilates in the Park sessions at Roger Short Soccer Complex. Led by our partners at Studio Pilates, this low-impact fitness series focuses on strength, flexibility, and better posture. Designed for all fitness levels — just bring a mat and positive energy! Kiwanis Memorial Weekend 5K Benefit Run

Celebrate your progress and honor the season with our Spring into Motion finale. This Memorial Day partnership run with the Kiwanis Club brings the community together for a great cause.
